WDR Wideband Data Recorder
As technology progresses, not only does the amount of data increase, but the speed at which it arrives increases. Mission data can regularly exceed 1 Gbps, creating challenges both in storing and analyzing the data. The RT Logic Wideband Data Recorder is capable of digitizing and recording this extremely high-rate data.
Supporting a variety of high-speed electrical interfaces such as ECL, LVDS, SERDES, and CML, the WDR is capable of ingesting serial data at rates far exceeding 1 Gbps. The WDR supports both IRIG-B time signals and an external frequency reference, guaranteeing that playback of the data is accurate and time correlated.
The WDR chassis is capable of holding multiple terabytes of storage so that recording space is not a concern, even at extremely high rates. And with redundant power supplies and several varieties of RAID available, the WDR fits into high-availability mission assurance environments.
Whether the goal is simply to backup and archive incoming high-rate mission data, or record it for offline post-processing, the RT Logic WDR is the perfect fit.
