The hardware features a high-performance digitizer (ADC) and Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) tightly coupled to a Xilinx Virtex-5 Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) with local high-speed memory. Because the digital processing is implemented in firmware, the DG5000 is easily tailored to specific customer requirements. Monics Satellite Carrier Monitoring System- The Monics Satellite Carrier Monitoring System (Monics) and the Digital Spectrum Analyzer (SAT-DSA) are products of our sister company SAT Corporation. Monics is capable of monitoring single sites or global networks for satellite up and downlink performance.
