TELEMETRIX 500 IP RECORDER SYSTEM (T500RX-IP)
OVERVIEW
 The RT Logic Telemetrix® 500 IP Recorder System (T500RX-IP) is a high-performance, real-time recording system that captures and recreates network traffic environments at data rates to 1 Gbps per network link. Record and playback of TCP, UDP, Multicast, and Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) network protocols is accomplished using internal/external Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID)-based disk storage, and optional tape media.

APPLICATION
 The T500RX-IP accurately captures network traffic, enabling precise time correlation between packets to be maintained on playback. The T500RX-IP also offers real-time diagnostic packet viewing. Special processing and viewing capability can be applied to manipulate and display packet payload data for customer specific applications.
ARCHITECTURE
 The T500RX-IP seamlessly integrates with Network Attached Storage (NAS) or Storage Area Networks (SAN), allowing storage capacity that can scale to meet demand (see T500RX-SAN). This integration enables users to take advantage of the T500RX-IP’s features for automatic data migration and synchronization. Migration automatically moves data from one storage area to another for applications such as long-term archive. Synchronization keeps copies of recordings in multiple locations to enable seamless failover in 24x7 applications. Algorithms from across our T500 line of products can be hosted on the T500RXIP. The flexible server-based architecture of the T500RX-IP maximizes channel density and scalability, while supporting your choice of COTS PCI Express network interface adapters.
