TELEMETRIX 500 FULL MOTION VIDEO OVER IP SYSTEM (T500FMV)

OVERVIEW
The RT Logic Telemetrix® 500 Full Motion Video Over IP System (T500FMV) provides dependable, ultra low-latency transport of full motion digital or analog video over IP or ATM networks with minimal latency. Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) raw/compressed video streams are supported.

Ultra low latency and straight-forward scalability make the T500FMV ideal for replacing standard centralized video switching systems. Using the switching power of IP, the T500FMV offers superior performance at a lower cost over centralized switches, while completely virtualizing data distribution. Network bandwidth efficiency is maximized through reliable, bandwidth-efficient IP network protocols, such as Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM), which is natively supported by the T500FMV.

APPLICATION
The T500FMV is well suited for applications that have limited network bandwidth and are sensitive to latency, such as manual video tracking of fast objects moving over changing terrain. The appropriate compression algorithm is configurable for the application. Raw video mode can also be selected to eliminate any compression artifacts and effectively eliminate latency. A choice of network protocols enables ready integration of the T500FMV into any network.

ARCHITECTURE
The flexible server-based architecture of the T500FMV maximizes channel density and scalability while supporting your choice of video data types and network protocols. The T500FMV is cost effective and customizable to meet your specific requirements.
