TELEMETRIX 400 FREQUENCY CONVERSION L/S-BAND SYSTEM (T400FC-LS)

OVERVIEW
The Telemetrix® T400 Frequency Conversion L/S-band System (T400FC-LS) is a high-performance, modular, and cost-effective frequency conversion unit for L-band and S-band applications. The RF range is 1650 MHz to 2400 MHz with 70 MHz intermediate frequencies. Up to four independent Frequency Converter modules are housed within a one rack-unit (1U), rack-mount chassis. These four modules can be installed in any combination of Upconverters and/or Downconverters. Larger chassis are available to host up to 17 Frequency Converter modules within a single unit.



APPLICATION
The T400FC-LS is ideal for interfacing 70 MHz modems with L/S-band interfaces. The modularity enables customized units without the increased cost and long delivery lead times of historical solutions. Remote control interfaces are available via Ethernet or serial connections. Local control is available with the front-panel key pad. The modular construction and separation of the Frequency Converters, power supply, and optional Personal Computer (PC) modules provide significant lifecycle cost benefits by allowing maintenance and spares at the module level rather than the chassis level.
