OVERVIEW
|
The RT Logic Telemetrix® 106 (T106) provides a turnkey system for launch and test range
data acquisition. The unit supports telemetry acquisition and command functions (RF through digital).
The T106 takes advantage of RT Logic’s family of Dynamic Digital Processors to provide reconfigurable signal processing. There
are standard T106 configurations available to meet PCM, PCM/FM, and FM/FM range-system requirements.

APPLICATION
|
Telemetry signal processing functions include RF downconversion, 70 MHz IF carrier
demodulation, pre and post detection diversity combination, FM discrimination, subcarrier demodulation bit synchronization, and decoding
(Viterbi/Reed-Solomon). Frame synchronization, data simulation, data archiving, and data replay can also be incorporated.
RT Logic’s digital diversity combination technique is unique in the industry. High-rate A/D conversion, combined with advanced signal
processing techniques, results in a solution that requires minimal calibration. The T106 can provide combined video output, bit synchronized
NRZ-L clock and data, or frame-synchronized data via network interface.
The unit can be configured with dual power supplies to address single point of failure issues.

system is based upon our family of digital reconfigurable processors that allow firmware-based algorithms to be downloaded to satisfy different

T106PCM—PCM telemetry acquisition unit supporting bit and frame synchronization, BERT. Up to eight channels of
input per system.
T106FM—FM telemetry acquisition unit supporting FM/FM and FM/PCM discrimination, PCM regeneration. Up to six inputs or 12 IRIG
channels per system.
T106R—70 MHz receiver system with bit synchronization or FM discrimination.
T106LX—Dual receiver, diversity combiner system with optional FM discriminator, or bit synchronizer and frame synchronizer.
